Moonlight skiing in the Faroe Islands

I wouldn't exactly recommend planning your ski vacation to the Faroe Islands. You never know which few days have enough snow, and when that happens, there is usually also a blizzard. Most people would have to revise their views about what 'enough snow' means, but a few straws through the snow, makes it easier to make out the contours at night.

But if you can do it, do it. It felt surreal - close to the city, but no one around, in a place where skiing is usually impossible.
